On Major Summer Holiday Weekends there are often special traffic management plans put into place which may restrict access to Atlantic Avenue during certain hours. Guests arriving Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor Day weekends should check with their hotel for details on the best access routes for the quickest entrance and least inconvenience.

BY AIR
Norfolk International Airport is eighteen miles from the Virginia Beach resort area. It has more than 184 arrivals and departures daily. Limousine and taxi service are available to Virginia Beach hotels.

BY CAR
Visit the city web site at visitvirginiabeach.com for specific directions from north, south and west of Virginia Beach. On approaching the resort, it is recommended that drivers use Birdneck Road routes into the resort. (See box to the right.) This will ensure the greatest ease of entry on your arrival. We also suggest you consult with your hotel for the nearest access route to that business.

BY TRAIN
Hampton Roads is serviced by Amtrak. The Amtrak stations are located in Newport News and Norfolk with daily arrivals and departures.

BY BUS
Virginia Beach is served by Greyhound. Call your local agent.
